Centuria’s technical expertise extends beyond the development, deployment, and support of information technology software applications. We also provide all-inclusive management and support for nationwide technical infrastructure networks.

Field Devices

Centuria provides mobile device support for Blackberrys, Windows mobile devices, Palm Trios, Smart Phones, and Apple iPhones for the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). We configure all devices with VA-approved email and private key infrastructure encryption software, and then issue, track, and process those devices upon their return according to client policies.

In managing the VA's technical infrastructure, we also seamlessly interact with external groups such as government email server administrators and private sector phone service vendors such as Verizon, Sprint, and others.

Centuria also installs information kiosks and provides 24x7 support for the VA’s National Cemetery Administration (NCA). Our responsibilities include site selection, engineering, and construction for all new kiosks and all-inclusive support for existing kiosks.

Servers

Centuria has extensive experience managing mission critical server hardware that supports nationwide software applications and mobile device operations. For the USDA Forest Service we provide vigilant monitoring of server health and system performance, tuning the server as necessary to ensure optimal performance.

Through our contract with the VA, Centuria manages Motorola GoodLink and Blackberry Enterprise server infrastructure to keep the department’s mobile devices operating and its employees connected.

Assisted the VA’s Chief Information Officer with a fiscal year 2007 effort to upgrade over 2,000 government professionals nationwide with new Blackberry devices.

Centuria is meeting our commitment to the VA’s National Cemetery Administration by providing 48-hour turnaround time for all maintenance calls for every kiosk installed in Washington, DC, and at over 75 locations throughout the United States.
