Technical Consulting

Centuria provides an array of technical consulting services in the areas of safety hazard mitigation and construction/installation. We conduct on site safety hazard surveys at dozens of US airports for the US Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Safety Administration (TSA). Centuria engineers inspect the selected sites and identify workplace safety risks. We provide technical analysis and consultation to help the client engineer solutions and prioritize projects that will mitigate those risks. As projects are implemented, our staff conduct further inspections to ensure the work is completed to specifications.

Centuria also has technical consulting experience constructing information kiosks for the US Department of Veterans Affairs’ National Cemetery Administration. Centuria professionals visit selected sites to create the feasibility studies used to determine the most appropriate kiosk style and physical location. These studies are reviewed based on weighted factors including amount of demolition or construction required to prepare the site, cost and availability of materials, local labor rates, local zoning and permit requirements, and aesthetics. Centuria has engineered and installed cemetery information kiosks in Washington, DC, and at over 75 locations throughout the United States.
