Mr. Burke, a decorated Marine, founded Centuria in 2002 and has driven its rapid growth to over 200 employees in 10 states. From 2005 to 2011 Centuria’s growth exploded leading to four consecutive appearances on the Inc. 5,000, and four consecutive years on the Washington Technology Fast 50 (2008-2011). In 2011, Kevin received a SmartCEO Future 50 award.
Prior to founding Centuria Kevin founded Synapse Incorporated, which grew to over 30 employees in less than twenty-four months. Prior to building these companies Kevin served as a technical resource for MCI, a GS 12 within the Department of Health and Human Services, and as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Kevin has been supporting the United States government as a Marine, Public Servant and as a government service provider for a combined 24 years.
Mr. Burke has been featured in Inc. Magazine and is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and AFCEA. Mr. Burke supports NFTE by speaking to disadvantaged classrooms on how to leverage a hard start in life towards attaining success. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Spinal Research Foundation.
