Senior Director of Program Operations
Mr. Deringer is a Senior Director, Program Operations. He has more than 30 years government and private sector IT and Engineering industry experience. Bill leads a high level engineering and technical support team that provides wide ranging lifecycle support to the National Weather Service (NWS) Radar Operation Center. He is responsible for all aspects of Program Management across a wide variety of engineering and technical personnel supporting the NWS NEXRAD program. This team includes radar, hardware and software engineers, meteorologists, logisticians, configuration management specialists, technical writer/editors, field service technicians and more.
Prior to joining Centuria, Bill held senior management and technical positions with Sperry, Unisys, Titan, SI International, RS Information Systems and Wyle Information Systems. He managed construction, installation and testing of radar sites in the U.S. and abroad, managed U.S. Operations for Sperry Arabia Ltd, and was facility manager of a manufacturing, assembly and test facility.
Bill is a Navy veteran, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University and a Juris Doctor form Oklahoma City University. He is CMII certified and is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association. Bill is the recipient of several professional awards including the NOAA Team Member of the Month.
