Centuria has been awarded a contract from Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) to provide technical services to support various aspects of IT operations.
Centuria brings nearly a decade of experience providing engineering, software development, and program management support to customers across the federal government. Elsewhere within Veterans Affairs (VA), the company is responsible for the maintenance of the information kiosks provided by the VA National Cemetery Administration at over 160 National and State Veterans Cemeteries. The company also manages the commissioning, decommissioning, and maintenance of the PDA servers and devices for the Department.

The services provided under this contract include operational support for MS Exchange, MS SharePoint, desk side services, web development, server management, VACO Server Lab and Microsoft Active Directory management, Storage Area Network (SAN) assessment and operations, backup and archiving assessment and operations, Certification & Accreditation (C&A) documentation, 24×7 operational support, VTC, and non-routine services.
Work on the $3.2M valued contract began on 1 October for a one year base period, with a one year option. Subcontractor, SAIC, will also provide support for this contract.
