FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO)

Kevin Burke

Kevin is the visionary founder and CEO of Centuria and has been the driving force behind the company’s success for close to two decades. Kevin develops Centuria’s business strategy and objectives and ensures their alignment with short- and long-term goals. He leads a staff of highly motivated professionals to advance employee engagement and business activities ensuring they produce desired outcomes consistent with Centuria’s overall strategy and mission.
 
Prior to founding Centuria, Kevin founded and matured Synapse Incorporated, an IT firm headquartered in Reston VA. In his early career, Kevin served as a GS 12 and COTR for the Department of Health and Human Services and as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Kevin brings Centuria expertise in Government operations and Federal contracting having supported the Government as a Marine, Public Servant, and Government service provider for over 30 years combined.
 
Outside of the office, Kevin supports the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship by speaking to disadvantaged youth on how to overcome a less-than-perfect upbringing to attain success and overcome life’s hurdles. He also actively supports the National Spine Health Foundation and served as Secretary for 5 years. 

PRESIDENT

Juan Hernandez

Juan is an experienced executive and the President of Centuria. He establishes and promotes Centuria’s corporate culture and vision; oversees daily operations; the design and implementation of business solutions; and develops and measures goals for performance and growth. Juan passionately leads Centuria’s staff ensuring optimal performance and a dedication to excellence through service.
 
Prior to joining Centuria, Juan served as the President of SMS Data Products Group, Inc. (SMS) for over 15 years. Juan has a proven, principled commitment to institutional process improvement and operational enhancement; rewarding employees for their contributions to corporate success to ensure retention of industry-leading talent and corporate knowledge; setting standards, striving for excellence, and measuring results; and developing, fostering, and nurturing everyone he leads.
 
Juan is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Management from Benjamin Franklin University.  

Executive Vice President (EVP)

John Cordeiro

John Cordeiro is Executive Vice President of Centuria’s Information Systems and Solutions Division. Under his leadership, Centuria offers innovative and differentiated technology and highly skilled personnel aimed at delivering capable and sustainable information technology solutions to our customers. 

John’s career spans more than 35 years of service to industry and the Federal Government. He has a diverse background in the development and execution of corporate growth plans and emerging market strategies as well as a background in Military Intelligence, Engineering and Business Development. 

John is a graduate of the Naval Cryptologic School and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO) 

Rakesh Patel

Rakesh is a seasoned and mature executive that serves as Centuria’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). With 20+ years of experience in building exceptional operations management teams, Rakesh offers a unique blend of leadership, vision and knowledge. His knowledge is instrumental to helping Centuria continue to grow and mature as a top-tier Federal consulting firm. As the COO, Rakesh will continue to advocate for a customer focused organization that achieves success through the empowerment of its workforce and instilling discipline in its operational and organizational processes. 

Rakesh has held Executive leadership positions in many other organizations and demonstrated a unique ability to integrate technology, organizational principles, and workforce management techniques to increase productivity, efficiency and operating margins. His more significant accomplishments include the development of account management methodologies that generated 80% of total company revenues, the transformation to a cloud based managed service model for a traditional licensed software application and supported the development of a CONUS operational and organizational structure that helped an organization grow from 150 to 700 billable staff members. 

Rakesh holds a Master’s of Science in Computer Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University. After graduating from Rutgers University and prior to entering the commercial workforce, Rakesh served in the U.S. Army as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer with 1st Armored Division. 

DIRECTOR OF SERVICE DELIVERY

Mike Horn

Mike Horn is the Director of Service Delivery. In this role, he expertly integrates large teams across multiple projects, tracks work performance, ensures timely deliverable submission, and executes the overall project schedule. A forward-looking thinker, he also develops process improvement documentation with senior leadership regarding workflows across the total project lifecycle with the goal of continued process improvement. 
 
Mike has 13 years of experience in service delivery, having managed complex projects consisting of information technology operations and maintenance, as well as design and implementation. Impressively, he has supported multiple Department of Defense contracts in excess of $200 million. 
 
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Shenandoah University and has earned his Project Management Professional Certification.  

CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER (CGO)

Edward Hall

Edward is a dynamic, results-focused leader and serves as Centuria’s CGO. In this role, Edward bridges the traditional stovepipes of business development, sales, marketing, operations, and IT to ensure all corporate initiatives originate from Centuria’s vision of excellence through service. Edward oversees the formation of business partnerships, negotiation of contracts, and leads Centuria’s planning and execution of strategies to achieve corporate growth.
 
Since joining Centuria, Edward has served as Environmental Intelligence Portfolio Manager, Capture Manager, and Business Analyst. Prior to his tenure at Centuria, Edward served in business development and research roles at Tyson Consulting Group and Azimuth Defense Consulting.
 
Edward received his Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg VA and has achieved Professional Level Certification in Business Development from Shipley Associates. Born in England, and made in America, you can find Edward cheering on his beloved Arsenal F.C.; being a culture vulture browsing museums and galleries or taking in a show or play; and sampling the myriad golf courses, restaurants, and wineries the DMV has to offer. 

VICE PRESIDENT OF INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY BUSINESS SECTOR 

Sandra Menendez 

Sandra Menendez is Vice President of Centuria’s Intelligence Community Business Sector. Under her leadership, Centuria offers innovative and differentiated technology and highly skilled personnel aimed at delivering capable and sustainable information technology solutions to the Intelligence Community (IC). 

Prior to joining Centuria, Sandra’s career spanned more than 32 years of service to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and other Intelligence Community (IC) organizations. Her diverse background includes expertise as an Acquisition Professional, Program Management Professional, and leader of a Working Capital Fund Business Office providing IT services throughout the Intelligence Community.   

Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from George Mason University. 

 

VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE

Alex Lyons

Alex is an energetic, seasoned professional and serves as Centuria’s Vice President. In this role, Alex oversees financial management, contractual, and legal matters; protects Centuria’s revenues to achieve financial control and sustainable growth; and leads corporate compliance initiatives. She manages a team responsible for all financial and contractual operations including corporate accounting; regulatory and financial reporting; budget and forecast preparation; as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Prior to joining Centuria, Alex served as a price-to-win consultant at Richter & Company. She brings over 13 years of diversified financial experience in the Government services sector and valuable knowledge of the Federal acquisition process. Alex has held various financial positions at Phacil, SAIC, Harris Corporation, and Sabre Systems.

Alex earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from George Mason University.


IT & LOGISTICS MANAGER

Kevin Neureuter Jr.

Kevin is the Logistics Support Manager at Centuria. He oversees Centuria’s supply chain management, including leading logistics, purchasing, and warehouse operations for the NWR Maintenance and Logistic Support contract. Kevin also serves as Centuria’s IT Administrator leveraging his passion and understanding in this field in support of corporate IT compliance, goals, and policies.

Prior to joining Centuria, Kevin worked as a supply chain manager and IT Administrator at Independent Technology, Inc. for 12 years. His passion for e-sports and computers led to him founding his own computer build and repair company, AXE Computers USA, in 2014.

Kevin is pursuing a Business Administration degree in Supply Chain Management from Genesee Community College.
